Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Located on a third-generation cattle farm, Ivy’s Cottage sits in Abingdon, VA just minutes from downtown and the Creeper Trail. Take in scenic farm views from this cozy 2 br, 1 ba retreat. The main bedroom features a queen bed in an open-concept layout connected to the living space. The upstairs loft offers two twin mattresses, perfect for extra guests. A spacious kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, salt/pepper, a dishwasher, and fridge — everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.

The property is situated on a beautiful acre lot w/ Old Town Creek in the back yard. Hop on the sidewalk to enjoy shopping, dining and activities. Enjoy the wonderful outdoor space with two fire pits and outside dining area. Note: longer-term monthly rentals, we accept 6 -8 guests instead of 10.
