Guests enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, propane grill, fire pit, kayaks, dock, Lily pad swim raft, and swim beach. If guests decide to go out, the Perham area offers a variety of attractions including shopping, hiking, golfing, and dining. Come unwind, life is good on the lake! (Available year round.)

Whether you're looking for a weeklong stay or a quick weekend getaway, Maple Hideaway, with all its amenities, is sure to have something for everyone. Take a soak in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, enjoy a game with the family, make s’mores at the fire pit, take a dip in the lake or go ice fishing. The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

The city of Ottertail is a highly desired Minnesota vacation spot. The home is a short 2 minute drive away. Ottertail has fun shops, delicious restaurants, and a couple of golf courses.
