Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is AC unit. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children or pets to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room and sectiois not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee

A Cabin in the Country

Only a 10 minute drive from town & surrounded by nature with an evergreen subtropical outlook you won't want to leave this charming one of a kind place. With tui, kereru & Molly morepork at your doorstep relaxing on the deck is a beautiful experience. Cosy & comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A light breakfast is provided. Ohuka Lodge

The Lake House at Waikaremoana

A stylish comfortable lodge which is perfectly located for stunning views of Lake Kaitawa and the Ngamoko Range. Quiet and peaceful, it is surrounded by native bush and only a five minute walk to the waters edge of Lake Waikaremoana and to the entrance of the Great Walk. Te Urewera is nearly four million acres of virgin native forest, with numerous activities at your fingertips, including hiking tracks for full range of abilities, mountain biking, kayaking, boating, fishing and hunting.

Rural Cottage Retreat

We offer an entire self-contained unit with ample secure parking. The room is cozy and clean. You have your own private deck overlooking a rural setting. It's a 2 min drive to and from town (including a short stretch of gravel road), an hours drive to Lake Waikaremoana or 40 minutes to Mahia Beach for sun, surf and sand. Perfect spot if you're coming to town overnight for business or staying longer to enjoy the local environs, such as the mountain bike park, Morere Hot Springs.

No children/infants due to environmental dangers at this property. Please see SAFETY section. The Tuai Suite, est. 2006 Our small self-contained suite is ideal for the beautiful walks nearby. Great lake & orchard views from its private patio and the shared deck. It's well appointed, having all one might need for a great holiday. Self check-in and bring supplies like milk. Host next door so text to get anything sorted. 1 night stay available 7 days prior; 2 nights - 14 days

Escape to the beach.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. No cell reception but all you'll need to relax. 5mins stroll to a great surfing and swimming beach. Plenty of space for tents, campervans and caravans. There is a bathroom with a toilet, vanity and hot shower. Please bring your own linen. If this is not possible let us know and we can sort some out. Pets are allowed, please specify when booking. The section is not fully fenced and any pets are not allowed on the furniture.

Our recently renovated home is easily located in a quiet side street off the main highway through Wairoa. The house is on a large section with room to play, close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the main street, and local shops. An easy drive to the beautiful Mahia beach or Lake Waikaremoana. Whether you are on a family holiday or a business trip, your stay will be relaxing and comfortable with all the trimmings of a home away from home.

It is a beautiful sunny secluded lifestyle home situated on a two acre block. Peace and quiet is assured. Relax in spa pool while taking in the views of the Wairoa River. It is a 5 minute walk to town center and supermarket. Open kitchen plan and cosy lounge with fireplace and air-conditioning. It has 3 bedrooms, Master bedroom has king size bed, Bedroom 2 and 3 have queen beds. The bathroom has a rain shower with toilet, there is a separate second toilet.

Relaxing benefits of country living with only 5 minutes to town. Spacious grounds and parking. Fully renovated inside. Polished wooden floors throughout. Insulated providing warm cosy feel. Enjoy rain water with ozone filter. The outside is all prepped for new paint. Currently with rustic appearance. The toilet is not in the bathroom in the house it is off the Laundry as per photo. It is a 3 metre walk under a covered verandah.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.
