Aviemore town and shops are a 10 min stroll down a lovely quiet lane, banked by views of the mountains and the Strathspey Steam Railway. The railway runs close to the bottom of the garden and is perfect for children (and adults !) to wave at the driver. One dog welcome

The house has been recently refurbished for 2019 with the finest luxury furnishings.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

There is so much to do for all abilities & age groups. From Landmark Adventure Park & Dinosaur World, to visiting Polar Bears at Highland Wildlife Park or feeding the Reindeer, you can mountain bike, climb, walk, zip, sail, ski, photograph Osprey's or just simply sit having afternoon tea on the Steam Train, Amazing Place is just for you.

The closest house to the Cairngorm's. Based in the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park Snow Gate Cabin is the last dwelling sitting right at the foot of the Cairngorms themselves. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.

Whakamahorahora is a perfect couple hide away. People often ask us what the name’s all about. Well if you know us or visit the house you’ll see there’s a bit of a New Zealand theme. Aotearoa was our home for 4 years and although we could not stay we loved our time spent there and chose to bring back some good old “Sweet as” Kiwi ethos. If you look around you might be able to guess some of the other places we've visited
