On a cul-de-sac in quiet residential area. Good spot for traveling nurses, mill workers, hikers, hunters, fishermen. One minute to the corner minute mart, 10 min drive to freeway, Safeway and Target, downtown Longview or I-5. 1 1/12 hour drive to Mt St Helens visitor center. 45 minutes to Portland airport. 1 1/2 hr to the coast. 2 1/2 hrs to Seattle. We are in the Three Rivers area, so there are many options for fishing, hiking and water sports. Off street parking. Private entrance. Boat parking

Welcome to The Kirk! A 1926 original Old West Side apartment building located just blocks from beautiful Lake Sacajawea, situated on a wonderfully tree lined street. There is a courtyard and garden space, complete with a compost. We use toxic free cleaning agents. You will find the neighborhood to be quiet and charming! Inside you will see it is well equipped and even has a dōTERRA diffuser with your own set of essential oils to use during your stay! If you need anything, we live a block away!

The Carpenter's Cottage

The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

Batwater Station Tiny Cabin on the Columbia River

Experience an otters view of the Columbia river at the cabin which is remote from the other buildings. It includes heat, good internet, several streaming TV channels and trundle bed that makes into king size bed with cabinets and cold water sink. Your retreat includes gazebo with propane barbecue, fire pit and outhouse. Bedding, cookware, dishes, oil, coffee, tea, coffee pot, etc. are provided as well. Access to pier house includes heated shower and bathroom along with full kitchen.

Welcome to our peaceful, cozy retreat just 2.5 miles from the heart of Castle Rock, Washington. Nestled on the way to the majestic Mt. St. Helens, this 700 square foot, two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is a true gem. The house boasts a fully fenced yard, a delightful patio area with a BBQ and a picnic table, and a charming outdoor fire pit for those perfect evenings when conditions allow (No Burn Ban). Mt. St. Helens is 51 miles from the house. Mt. Rainier national park is 83 miles.

Cozy in for awhile and leave refreshed, or use our home as a central location to the mountains, ocean and gorge.

Sacajawea Studio on the Lake

Studio apartment above a garage, BEHIND the pictured house. Private entrance, off-street parking; 325 sq feet including full kitchen, tub and shower, queen bed (memory foam), dining table, TV. Located on lovely Lake Sacajawea with its tree-filled park. Walk or bike the perimeter (3+ miles) or part of the lake. House is a short distance from the hospital on the opposite side of the lake. Many of our guests are "travelers," medical professionals working on short-term contracts.

Come relax at this lovely, well-stocked home full of style and peaceful views. Property is surrounded by pasturelands with goats, horses and cows who love visitors. Visit wineries in the area, play at Lake Merwin or Horseshoe Lake, hike Lava Canyon by Mt. St. Helens, explore the Ape Caves, visit nearby waterfalls, or hit up the tourist-attracting Ilani Casino located under 15 minutes away. Patio with hot tub and BBQ. Room for boat/RV parking.
