Newly remodeled in 2023/2024. Cozy cottage is a perfect place to get away and enjoy northern Michigan any season. Located in Houghton Lake, this cozy cottage sleeps 5, with room for you to play games, cook meals, and relax. It has a large yard and is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to many local shopping, food and activities. Just a short 10 minute walk to a nice public beach on Houghton Lake or 2 miles to launch your boat on the water. Just 4 miles to the ORV trailhead.

Retreat to the Leister Cottage! A newly renovated 3 Bedroom 2 Bath cottage which sits on the shore of Houghton Lake. Houghton Lake is Michigan’s largest inland lake. Enjoy gorgeous views all year round! You have your own private dock for your boat, and a sandy shoreline to dip your toes into. We are minutes away from a public boat launch, snowmobiling ,ORV trails, and golfing. Multiple dining spots are an easy drive away. Coles Cozy Cottage Lakeside

Sitting only steps from the lake with amazing lake views out your windows! Outdoor amenities to utilize including outdoor seating, grassy yard for outdoor activities, fire pit, a large sandbox right in front of the water, swimming, a large cemented basketball area with a hoop and basketballs, and a dock for fishing or if you chose to bring up your own watercraft you may use the dock to anchor it. The yard is shared with another rental on the property. The cottage accommodates 4 people only.

Iroquois Lakeview -steps from the lake!

Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room. Enjoy a glass of wine watching sunset from the large front deck and Amish seating. Lake access is a block away. Small boats may launch there. ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.

Beautiful cottage, very clean & cozy. Sleeps 5, 2 bedroom, 3 beds, 1 large bathroom; Providing you with everything you would need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. AC, & lit-up bonfire area. Very close to Higgins Lake, Maplehurst dock & boat launch with beach access. Great location for boating, swimming, close to North & South State Parks, hiking, restaurants, and downtown Roscommon. Warm and comfortable atmosphere with the convenience of many popular local amenities nearby.

Clean Lakeview Cottage

This cozy, fresh cabin has Higgins Lake views, very close road-end beach/water access and is just a quick walk to Sam-O-Set Park & Beach and Good Times Party Store! The extra large lot has plenty of space for your boat trailer. Enjoy your breakfast looking at the lake! Take a few steps down to the road end beach and spend your day sunbathing and wading WAY out in the shallow, clear water. Launch your kayak here if you would like! Round out your evening with a bonfire out back!

Room For All - Hilltop View Cottage

Just 1 block from the Lake our Freshly Remodeled Lakeview Cottage is next door to our "Post Office Cottage". It is divided by a large Breezeway. Each half has 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Twin Bunk room & a Living room. The excellent Wifi (Roku) & separate spaces are great for work/study & privacy. Extra Clean & Charming w/Decks out front & in the fenced in backyard. Charcoal Grill, Picnic table, 2 Kayaks w/cart & Fire pit w/lots of chairs. Pets must be approved w/Pet fee

Welcome to Lakelife.

Set on a wonderful, quiet street, just steps from Houghton Lake. Our cottage is quaint and cozy. End of road access can be viewed from the front yard as you enjoy coffee on the front porch or company around the fire pit. We are conveniently located close to several restaurants, golf courses, stores and everything that makes a vacation memorable. If you desire trail riding, golfing, fishing, kayaking, biking or simple relaxation our cottage is a perfect destination.

The Entire Hook-N-Ladder Lodge of Houghton Lake.

Our rental cottages are a very unique set-up. We offer a side by side duplex, both are directly on the water. This is a GREAT set-up to bring the in laws or family friends. Open your front door and look out the large living room windows to the beautiful waterfront. The private lakefront consists of 75’ on the water, 100’ foot of dock, very sandy bottom great for swimming, bon fire pit and much, much more. This listing is for entire duplex, (2 cottages).
