This is a great location for a fishing trip to Houghton Lake. Parking is great for a boat trailer and the house/area is really nice. We've stayed here twice now and have been really happy with it.

Great stay with family! Nice large lot and the home is beautiful and well kept. Had everything we could possibly need. Neil is a wonderful and responsive host. Very close to South Higgins State Park. We enjoyed our time very much and will definitely be back!

This little lakefront dream was perfect! you can't see the house from the street and it was off season so the neighbors were doing some driveway work, which had all been shared in the welcome texts but Jen even was available when I arrived and double checked with her via text. Accommodated an earlier check in for me, had little snacks provided and I had the most wonderful post travel nap! Beds both have dense memory foam toppers which I thought would be too firm but were actually amazing. Felt better than I wake up at home! Throw blankets and bathroom amenities were all spotless and fresh. Check out process was easy. loved my getaway!

2nd Annual Girls Trip! We rented out this house again because we loved it so much last year. It is the perfect space for our group of 8 girls. We all have a place to sleep that is comfortable and we just love the common areas to gather and chat. The kitchen is PERFECT for our needs with a massive island to present all of our food for each meal and it so well equipped! The spice rack is DREAMY! :) lol I think we are already planning on our Winter 2026 Higgins Lake Girls Trip again and it's only been 24hrs! Thank you so much for another amazing time!

Every aspect of this rental was 5 star. The home sits on a beautiful piece of land with great lake views. We rent a property each year for a mid-October getaway for 3 families with various aged kids, this rental was the cleanest, most well thought out one of them all. The owners took some time to consider the needs of renters and it shows! I can easily recommend this property for any size group.

Scott and Katrina were great hosts. Very responsive to questions before and after booking. Home was very nice and perfect for our stay. If we return to the area we will definitely stay here.

Tim was a great host to work with! He was very helpful and informative! The cabin was just as advertised: Cozy and Rustic… loved the natural wood. We enjoyed the weekend!
