I am a foodie & provide a continental breakfast, homemade granola, yoghurt, baking TO GET YOU STARTED ON ARRIVAL, after that our awesome supermarkets are close. Walk to the lake and Wanaka Tree thru park or Edgewater for a scone! 20minutes walk to town, Roys Peak climb or Rippon Wines 5 min drive

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄
