Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Experience the town of Nelson and the Kootenay Mountains while living on your own private mountainside property located just outside of town. Tucked away, under 10 min from downtown Nelson, the chalet is nestled on a private property surrounded by lush forest with a creek, waterfall and private trails steps from the door. Enjoy an 8-person hot tub, 2 outdoor decks, walking trails and more. This is the closest lodging option to Whitewater Ski Resort, just 5 minutes up our road.

Perched on Arrow Lakes, minutes from Nakusp in the Kootenay Rockies, the Kootenay Lake House at Kootenay Lakeview Retreats offers breathtaking 180-degree mountain and lake views. Start your day with soak in the spa-style bathroom, gazing at the mountains. At night, sleep under the starry skies on the luxury king bed. Enjoy a drink by the fireplace, relax with a book on the patio, take a dip in lake from the private beach, or unwind in the wood-fired hot tub on the lake's edge.

Ainsworth Springs Suites - Kutenai Suite

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. NOTE: Please check the hot springs website for further information about access to the hot springs. We are separate from the resort. Pet friendly ($20 pet fee per stay charged separately)

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Nelson Lake Suite - Cozy Scenic Getaway

Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.

This Epic View (not so tiny) tiny house is truly a soul nourishing place. From its large expanse of south facing windows you can soak in the views of Kooteney lake and then enjoy the covered private deck with an outdoor bathtub! Kick back and relax in this 1000sq ft renovated suite on the Kootenay Lake featuring breathtaking views everywhere you look, it's truly is Paradise:) 1/2 an acre of water front featuring cliffs, swimming, beach and sitting areas. Conveniently located between Nelson (45 mins S), Balfour (15 mins S)Kaslo (15 mins N) World renowned Ainsworth Hot-spring is walking distance (across the road) which are known for their awesome caves.

Cedar Cottage - A private, natural experience

The Cedar Cottage is a 1 bedroom, cozy and romantic cottage with all the needed amenities. Numerous windows allow ample light in with the feeling of being nestled in the trees. A covered garage is provided for guests to park. Beautiful deck nestled in the cedars with glimpses of the Purcell Mountain range and Kootenay Lake. Access world class mountain bike trails or walk the river trail right from the Cedar Cottage.

Sauna + Hot tub: Bees Knees in the Trees Tiny Home

A private forest tiny home designed for slow mornings and wood stove evenings, just five minutes from downtown Nelson. Climb to the lofted queen bed with a curated book collection, unwind by the fire, and soak in our mountain spring hot tub. Book the wood-fired sauna (+$50) and seasonal cold plunge for a true Kootenay reset. Peaceful, minimal, and tucked in the trees — yet close to trails, skiing, and town.
