This newly remodeled cabin is centrally located in Meeker, Colorado. From the view of the mountains right outside the front door and deck, you can walk a few blocks to restaurants, post office, hiking trails, and the White River Museum. Meeker's location in one of the most remote areas of Colorado makes it a perfect home base for heading to the surrounding public lands including the Flat Tops Wilderness and White River. It’s also a destination for the Sheepdog Trials and Mustang Makeover.

White River Haven, mountain paradise on the river

Get out of the hustle and bustle to our tranquil haven. The amazing White River runs through our yard for ease of access to fishing. Nearby are boating & fishing lakes and hiking trails through national forests and state parks. There are over 250 miles of OHV trails, North America's largest migrating elk herd, a summer rodeo series, International sheepherding trials, and more. There's plenty to do! It is also wonderful to sit on the deck listening to the river and watching it flow past.

This 2-bedroom, 1-bath 1500 sq. ft. lower-level guest suite, offers an additional sleeping area with a queen-sized futon and full kitchen along with a washer and dryer and private, garden level patio entrance with grill, table/chairs, and conversation area. Centrally located in Meeker, you have a 4-block, 5 minute walk to the downtown area along with a beautiful view of the White River Valley and surrounding mountains.

Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.

The guest area includes the entire basement of our home, with it's own private entrance, a living room area, bathroom and laundry facilities as well as a small kitchenette area stocked with breakfast items. The white river and fishing are within walking distance. We are surrounded by beautiful hiking and biking areas. There is an outdoor patio space to enjoy the peace and quiet of the white river valley.

Located just steps to the White River and a large private community open space, with swing set, bbq grill and picnic tables. You’ll also be walking distance to several restaurants, parks, and shopping. This two-story condo is located on the second floor. The open kitchen features granite counters and an eat-in island. You’ll also have access to a private laundromat facility onsite.

Rustic Upstairs 2 Bedroom Apartment

Enjoy traditional Colorado living in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with an external entrance and all the amenities of a spacious, basic hotel suite a couple miles outside of Meeker. Family friendly, although the stairs are very steep and not recommended for everyone. Lots of parking for vehicles and trailers. Feel free to wander the hillside directly behind the home.
