Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Relax in this newly built log cabin on over 3 private acres of land at an elevation of 4,300 ft. The 1350 square foot cabin has a large master loft with a large private bathroom and media area. The loft also has a balcony that gives you amazing views of the surrounding trees and is the perfect place to listen to birds and watch wildlife. The cabin is ideal for a couple, small family, best friends, or an individual looking for a personal retreat in the forest. Dogs are welcome!

The Honeybear Cabin, Ocean-view Forest Retreat

Nature lover’s escape in an untouched Redwood Forest with ridge-top ocean view. Enjoy a cozy glamping experience in the magical redwoods in the charming Honeybear Cabin. Adorable cabin in the Lassen National Forest is just 15 minutes away from the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance and its beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. Also, explore the Pacific Crest Trail, Lake Almanor, or fishing in Battle Creek. Stay a while and relax, or work remotely in this newer cabin with awesome Starlink Wifi, master bedroom (Queen Bed) and a loft (Two Double Beds). Families are welcome; however, please do not book more than four adults.

Small Cozy Cabin with great views of Shasta Lake. This small cabin can accommodate four. This cabin does allow pets with additional fees of $25 per pet. We also have larger cabins on Airbnb. UPDATE: Shasta Lake is experiencing severe drought and while there are still lots of cool things to do, the Lake on the Sac. Arm is currently experiencing low levels. We do have our dock in front of the resort. Still beautiful views!
