Tommy Rough will be your new home away from home! Perfect for a couple, but can accommodate up to 3-4 with the use of sofa beds. Retro styling, updated amenities, and all the comforts from home - just downsized, slowed down, and simplified. Pets welcome, fenced and secure back yard. She’s a little “rough around the edges”, hence the name, but is safe, comfortable and charming. Your perfect couples getaway only 2 hours from Adelaide. Our place is a 1 km walk to the pub, shops, and Jetty.

Sweet Briar in the Vines is close to The Riesling Bike & Walking trail, Vineyards , Wineries, Clare Town, restaurants and cafes, parks, art galleries . You’ll love my place because of the peaceful surroundings, proximity to the town, the fresh air, the starlit sky, the views, the cosy fireplace, AC in bedrooms +wineries, the generous breakfast provisions and the fabulous bottle of complimentary O'Dwyer Wine. My place is good for couples, adventurers, business travellers, families and groups.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. Alex's house is located in the South Australian town of Laura in the southern Flinders Ranges. Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.
