The Brigade - A Timeless Retreat

Step into history at The Brigade, recently restored to showcase the grandeur of the Gold Rush era. Built in the 1870s as ‘The Fire Brigade Hotel’ to serve miners, it fell into disrepair and remained vacant since the 1970s. In late 2021, father & son Shaun and Ethan began extensive restoration works, completing it in early 2025. Now ready to be enjoyed once more, we have hand crafted your stay to the finest detail. Bet Bet Creek Homestead

A large, family friendly, country home, Bet Bet Creek Homestead is a tranquil getaway set on the banks of the Bet Bet Creek. Situated between the rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca, our charming mud brick house can comfortably sleep 8 people, with its four bedrooms and two living areas. There is a large outdoor area with an outdoor fire and gas BBQ, lounge and dining table. Be sure not to miss the sensational sunset over the front paddock or a walk along the creek.

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Those into degustational delights will enjoy the local wineries, fine dining and farmers markets.
