This is by far one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. The host had everything that you could possibly need plus some things that I didn’t expect (international plugs). She was fast to answer questions and friendly.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend!”l I had an incredible stay at this property. The location was perfect for stargazing, with a clear night sky and no light pollution, truly magical! The house itself was very private, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. I even got to see a horse grazing right in front of the house, which added to the charm. The host was fantastic, very responsive and went above and beyond to help with anything I needed during my stay. Communication was fast and easy, which made the whole process smooth. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a private getaway with great scenery and an excellent host!

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

This place is an absolute gem! We spent thoroughly enjoyed this secluded home. The hot tub was perfect for enjoying an evening outside. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. Everything was wonderful.

Lovely place in amazing surroundings. Really special place to relax, and incredible views. One of the favourite airbnb stays. They have made this house a lovely space off the main track. If you come in the winter do bring a 4x4 as it’s at the top of an incline.

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

Great place with lovely views

nous avons passés trois nuits dans un logement très agréable à proximité de nombreux sites. il est très bien équipé, au calme et nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales depuis le canapé à travers les baies vitrées du salon. nous recommandons fortement ce logement ! merci pour l'accueil et les idées de visites à proximité !

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is a dream vacation place. Ingibjorg is very friendly, helpful & communicative, and everything inside the cottage was pristine, well organized & very stylish. The outdoor amenities of the hot tub, sauna, glass patio house, and her very friendly horses in the adjacent field really made the place a one-of-a-kind 5-star stay. With a location that is very private in the rugged countryside only an hour and a half from Reykavik, it is ideally situated as a central hub for only an hour's drive to many main attractions in southern Iceland like Geysir, Gullfoss, Secret Lagoon to the north, and Seljalandsfoss, Solheimajokull and the Reynisfjara black sand beach to the south. It was a perfect stay for a wonderful trip! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland.

Stunning view. A classic A-frame cabin. Soooo quiet and peaceful. Peaceful. Easy to walk to the restaurant and if you choose, walk to the little communities nearby, including farms and the local church. It's a cabin in the golden circle. Don't be a jerk. Appreciate. We are all lucky to experience this. And if you ask a question, Jake ANSWERS you almost immediately. But really... the porch overlooking the valley... and the AMAZING outdoor shower with hot water from the local geothermal station. SHUT UP if you don't appreciate how special this is. Therapeutic. Ahhhhhhhh. We stayed up late and saw the northern lights. Doesn't get better for peace and authentic. Thanks Jake!!!! 😁

Our stay at the cabin was incredible. We immediately felt at home in this warm and cozy oasis. The hot tub was the perfect temperature after a day of exploring Iceland. This place is perfect for families. The game cabinet was huge and entertained the whole family during a quiet day at the cabin. Stefan sent all the instructions for check in/out and getting to the cabin ahead of time. We had no trouble finding it. Thank you for such a perfect home base on our Icelandic adventure!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The photos don’t do it justice—the landscape and surroundings are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere is unmatched. Totalmente recomendado! María estuvo atenta si necesitábamos algo y dejó todas unas indicaciones y recomendaciones cuando llegamos, además de una bienvenida de su huerta! La casa muy espaciosa y cómoda, y la ubicación nos gustó porque era un barrio tranquilo y cerca de las atracciones del lugar.

great spot for my last night stay. nice to have a restaurant 10 steps away. bit of a thin wall on the other side however. neighbors played music and laughed til midnight. i was too lazy and tired to knock on their door, adjacent to mine. otherwise, a great spot...to enjoy the laugarvatn fontana spa, too--amazing and relaxing.
