The house is located in a quiet, rural area in the center of South Iceland, only 7 min drive from Hvolsvöllur and Road 1. It's a perfect base for exploring the South Coast. Landmarks in the vicinity are Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Skógafoss, Vestmannaeyjar, Black Sand Beach and Landmannalaugar, as well as the Golden Circle. Private cottage with stunning views

This spacious and cozy cottage can accommodate up to 8 people and is ideal for families and groups of friends. The cottage is perfectly located near the Golden Circle in the scenic South of Iceland, only a 10 minute drive from Geysir. The sleeping arrangements consist of two 160 cm beds, two 120 cm beds in the guesthouse, and two 90 cm beds in the loft. One of the highlights of the cottage is the marvelous mountain view over Hekla which we think is best enjoyed while relaxing in the hot tub.

Romance reigns in the wonderful nature here. We breed horses in Lerkiholt. Horses and foals are in the pasture with us and can be right next to the house. Please don't give food or tauch them ;-) It is close to two swimming pools, approx. 5-10 minutes. It is also close to golf. View and short distance to see Eyjafjallajökull, Hekla, Vestmannaeyja and much more. A unique place by a lake within the Golden Circle.

Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

The Cabin is cosy and comfortable. The cabin offers stunning Mountain view across the south of Iceland (Mt Hekla). Surrounded by a small forest, framed by a famous fishing river which runs next to the cabin. NORTHERN LIGHTS shimmer on clear nights during the winter. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas Barbeque, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi with hydromassage. There are inside and outside showers and a upstairs lounge with a Smart TV incl. streaming services.
