If your searching for a great cabin with good location to Helen and surrounding attractions look no further. I searched for weeks until I decided on this cabin. This place checked every box of my type A personality. Super clean. Great location. Every detail thought of to make you feel right at home. We took our family of four: two boys 11 and 12 and it was perfect. The boys had the loft to themselves with their own bathroom! We all loved the hot tub. Plenty of towels, clean sheets, great TVs and the beds were comfortable. The drive to the cabin and parking are all easy. We visited an attraction each day with a short 5-30 min drive. Helen, Tallulah Gorge, Cleveland, mountain coaster, Unicoi state park, and Anna Ruby Falls. We even did a Braves game but of course a little longer of a drive. Would highly recommend this cabin.

We had an incredible stay at James’ place! The cabin was exactly as described—beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and wineries. James was an exceptional host—very responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Super Stay at John's Place! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Easy to find, close to town. Great view, lovely deck, plenty of chairs to enjoy sitting outside, nice hot tub. Great get away place for families.

This place was absolutely spotless—so clean and well-maintained, even the small details showed just how much care and effort was put into making this a perfect stay. The hot tub was even bigger than expected, and the view was beautiful and peaceful. I was a little worried about the signal at first, but once we connected to the WiFi, it worked just fine. Evan’s communication throughout the stay was great! Honestly, I have nothing bad to say—everything exceeded expectations. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a really amazing stay! We spent two nights here for our mini honey moon after getting married. It’s an amazing cabin and beautiful location. I would highly recommend for any couples wanting to get away.

We were having our family Christmas get together and was so happy that the house was still beautifully decorated for Christmas. That made our gathering extra special! The house was perfect for our group!

This was by far our favorite stay in an Airbnb to date. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The breathtaking views set the tone for a truly memorable getaway. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. The steam shower added a touch of luxury to our daily routine, and being so close to downtown gave us the best of both worlds—easy access to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of a quiet retreat. Every detail of our stay made it an unforgettable experience.

This was my second time staying at Bleu Canoe and it was just as enjoyable as the first! We loved being close to lots of hiking and the on-site restaurant is fantastic! While the cabin is rustic, it has just enough amenities to make it comfortable and cozy! Would definitely recommend staying here for an affordable weekend in the mountains!

I loved that it was not as sterile as some places. Hillary added a few extra touches...tea bags, eggs, cookies, condiments and there were a few spices and olive oil (though I brought my own), making it feel more like a home. The furniture was very comfortable and the location is beautiful.

The home was clean and the area is very quiet. The master bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom is large. We enjoyed the back porch and the dock area.

The dancing bear was so cute and cozy. Kitchen has all appliances,cookware, you'll need. the Bathrooms a very nice and stocked. The water pressure was a challenge with Three females with long hair. The hot tub was perfect on those cold nights. We couldn't get the fireplace to work, but We had a blast relaxing and making s'mores by the fire.The pool table was a bunch of laughs on our night in.We couldn't find the chalk for the pool sticks,but it was fun!! Shopping in town was not far. Took a trip to Helen had the best time cutest little town. Quick trip to Tallulah falls beautiful!! We highly recommend staying at the Dancing Bear on your next getaway!!!! 🐻🩷

Beautiful cabin! We've traveled to this area many times and what makes this particular place stand out is its proximity to town. Many rentals in this area are deep in the woods/mountains so it takes a long time just to get back to the main road, but this one is not and was quite easy to find and get to. It's the perfect size for a couple or small family and I love that there's a trail right on the property.

This property is phenomenal. House is adorable and clean and has everything you could possibly need. The location is so very cool on the river and so much privacy and space. The owner is very helpful, responsive, and has really taken perfect care of the place. Really an amazing vacation rental and would love to go back anytime and would highly suggest for anyone wanting to be in this area. This is the place to be!

Cute home! Everything was just as described and we enjoyed our stay. Great location, just a mile from downtown Clayton for restaurants and shopping. Easy access to area hiking, wineries, and more. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit to this cabin. It’s very private and peaceful. The cabin is beautifully built and nicely decorated. It was the perfect size for our getaway. Kitchen was stocked with mostly anything you needed. The feel is very cozy and relaxed. Even though you are at the top of the mountain, town is not far at all. Very easy to get to restaurants and grocery store. We will always keep this cabin in mind when visiting Rabun Gap.

The cabin is PERFECT for two people. The kitchen has enough stuff to prepare meals, the refrigerator big but has no ice maker. The store on the corner has plenty of ice. The king bed is comfy and has enough blankets The porches are where we spent A LOT of time. Our dog loves the creek & yard. I do not worry much about her there as the side yard is mostly fenced ( the creek isn't fenced ) There is a fire pit with split wood enough for many fires, utensils to start and maintain your fire. There are motion lights at the cabin entrances and a big pole mounted switched street light. The cabin is a 10 minute drive to Clayton on all paved road with few sharp curves. We have stayed there 4 times and intend to take our dog there for another vacation soon.

Our family had an AMAZING trip! Definitely the cleanest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Plenty of games to entertain everyone and absolutely beautiful place all around. We definitely will be back.

The house was beautiful and clean. Enjoyed our weekend away relaxed in the hot tub and the dome was a neat addition to the stay.

The sweetest spot with the sweetest hosts to match it! Kay was so welcoming not only for the cabin itself but the surrounding property, inviting us to enjoy the entire area! She didn’t have anyone coming the next day so she even let us stick around for a later checkout and really soak in the area. My family had the best time with all this cabin and area had to offer! We will be back!!

We fell in love with the home and area right away from the moment we pulled into the driveway. The house is absolutely adorable and the secluded property makes it even more special. We are from Florida, so having a real fire is something I miss coming from Virginia. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Highly recommend this beautiful property. Close to trails and downtown Clayton. We were lucky to meet some neighbors and they were super friendly. Will definitely return again.
