A cozy, newly refurbished home on our family farm located in Northern Southland - 10 minutes out of Lumsden and just 30 minutes from Gore; the trout fishing capital of NZ. Queenstown, Te Anau and the stunning Catlin's coast are all within 2 hours drive.

Reef Murmur - Stargazing Sunrise Hideaway

Set above the ocean in Bluff at 46°S, Reef Murmur blends sweeping sea views with the charm of an older coastal home. Recently upgraded with double glazing in every bedroom and the dining area, plus a double-glazed stacking door in the lounge, it is now warmer, quieter and brighter. The bathroom has a modern vanity; the compact kitchen suits light cooking. Stunning sea side location of this beautiful new spacious beach house will provide a peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy the pristine Catlins Coast. Kaka points safe, lifeguard patrolled beach (summer) is across the road. House is located only 200m from the Point Cafe/store/bar and local play ground. Explore Nugget Pt and enjoy spotting the spectacular sea lions basking on the rocks. Hide away to watch the yellow eyed penguins arrive at Roaring bay. Local bush walks within 1 km.

Catlins Estuary View

A warm & cosy 3 bedroom house perfect for your Catlins adventures. Sit out on one of the two decks and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the stunning view down the Catlins estuary and out to Owaka heads. Drive times to local attractions: Jacks Bay Blowhole - 10mins Surat beach - 5mins Owaka -3mins Pounawea - 5mins Nuggets Point Lighthouse - 30mins Purakanui falls - 15mins Papatowai Lost Gypsy - 30mins My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Honey Farm Cottage - Otago NZ

Relax and enjoy stunning 360° rural views from this cosy, modern cottage on our working honey farm. Conveniently located on SH1, next to the cycle trail and just a few kilometres from Lake Waihola or a 35 minute drive from Dunedin ... this is the perfect place to relax after a long day. With a full kitchen, you can be self-sufficient or choose from several other dining options. TV, books, games, and even friendly sheep for your entertainment! Light continental breakfast also included.

The Studio at No 9.

This peaceful, hill top, studio room is just a 10 minute amble to the town’s parks, gardens, cafes, shops and restaurants. Wifi, TV, microwave and small refrigerator, kettle and toaster with basic kitchen cutlery and crockery, teas and coffees supplied. Brand new bathroom. Private entry and driveway with undercover parking. The decor is eclectic and there are two outdoor seating options. The garden is shared. Guest access by key lock. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon.

Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

Tahakopa Bay Retreat, Catlins, South Otago

Takahopa Bay Retreat is in the heart of the Catlins and offers sweeping panoramic coastal and established native Forest views. The Retreat was established by the Clark family who live on, and farm the surrounding land. The Clark's have been farming the 685 hectare coastal property in the Catlins for the last 25 years. Cameron and Michelle would love to share their secluded retreat with you to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness it provides.

A short walk to Kaka Point's two beaches and village centre. Spirit of the Sea is a private yet central coastal escape designed as a couples retreat, not ideal for small children as there are a number of hazards such as steep unfenced cliff and a busy road.
