This quiet garden-level suite has its own private entrance (we live upstairs) and feels tucked away among trees, yet close to everything. Mim's Place is a special place where all are welcome. Grandma Mim and Grandpa Pat built our little country farmhouse in 1940. It is a modest peaceful home surrounded by cattle and alpaca farms. Quail, dove birds and big horned owl are seen daily. Enjoy the sunrise over Horse Heaven Hills or the remarkable sunset as it falls over Mt. Adams. Only 3 miles away is Vintners Village, home to over 12 wineries and and great food. Prosser boasts over 35 wineries and is home to many wine events.

NOTE: this is a basement walk-out apartment underneath our family’s living space. While we have gone to extensive lengths to eliminate sound transfer, you may still hear occasional footsteps above (especially 7-9 am and 5-7 pm).

The Desert Hideaway is a private, detached guesthouse tucked into a quiet neighborhood. You’re just five minutes from shopping in two directions and six minutes from the Columbia River at Howard Amon Park. The Tri-Cities are known for their excellent food trucks, and Richland’s scenic riverfront path is perfect for walking or biking. The backyard is shared with the hosts.
