My place is centrally located with in the University area, Poush Mela ground sonajhuri hat all are with in walking distance, the upasona griho is also walking distance. most importantly the place is carrying the true essence of santiniketan, the peace & tranquility. Lalit Cottage

This home is situated in the outskirts of Santiniketan, next to a tribal village, near the known saturday market and closed by an ayurvedic center.The nice garden hosts lot of trees and birds. The confortable house is made of brick, mud and wood. The upstairs terrace offer a relaxing spot to enjoy the nature. The fireplace in the living room gives warmth in the wintertime. To precise: as it is in the nature, during summer and moonsoon there can be ants, and frogs entering in the bathroom.

A full two story new bungalow in a walled compound with manicured lawns and plants, pond,24x7 security, power back up, free wi-fi,safe parking space , jogging / walking tracks. All of these next to a tribal village and open fields. Only one set of guests is accommodated at any given time regardless of the number of guests booked (max 6). Guest group of male members only is not accepted. We are couple friendly. On state highway- transportation facility (bus , toto) is easily available

Amidst the serene surroundings, our Prantarik Cottage is a quaint little picture pretty cottage, located at a distance of about five minutes’ walk from Prantik railway station. The cottage was built in the mid-nineties by our beloved father,(Late) Ranendra Lahiri. Being a Chartered Engineer by profession he designed it to serve as a place of periodic retreat in order to pursue his literary and musical pursuits too, in the quietude.

Our nest 'Dui Pakhi'(Two Birds),a place where joy frees your mind and fills it with tranquility. It's a beautiful homestay at Santiniketan.(within 5 kilometers from Bolpur Station). We rent our entire first floor which has a spacious room with attached bathroom and dressing space. The most attractive place is our wide porch with a open terrace with a pantry. Places of interest can be accessed easily from our place. Sonajhuri haat is within 1km from our nest.
