Shongili Lodge Unit 1

Experience the unrefined, culture-rich environment like never before. Situated on the Eastern side of Lagoa Uembje, Shongili Lodge is reached by an 8 minute boat ride over clear, clean waters from the Mozambique town of Biléne. Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.

Enjoy Bilene beach with your family. You'll have a great time in this calm, coloured, comfortable & modern house. Sleep & wake up to the sounds of waves and bird songs. Wake up to humming birds and take a walk through the immensity of trees embellished by over 30 different species of plants. Take breakfast by the pool and shameless selfies on the pool swing :) Every detail in this house is meant to make it cozy while appealing to the eye. If it gets rainy, we suggest you jump on the couch for some Netflix time, or get to that 8 ball first if you feel like some pool! Sleeps 2 to 4 people: Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. One bedroom equipped with a Double Bed. Shower, basin and toilet. 2 Single Beds in the lounge area. It is mostly a Sand\Beach Road. To get to the Resort it is important to Note that a Sedan or Low Ground Clearance Vehicle is not suitable. You would need an High Road Clearance Vehicle, SUV, Bakkie, 4X4 or 2X4.

Our place is 50 meters from Massala Beach Resort right in front of Ujembe lagoon its perfect if you are looking for a peaceful time with your loved ones. You can engage in various activities on site and in the surrounding area, like boat trip to Nghunghwa for Lodge, 10 minute drive to the Villa where you may find restaurants ,stores traditional artwork and clothing.
