Kinmount House is 2.4 miles away & Gretna Green is only 12 miles away. We are with-in walking distance to Powfoot beach & the golf course. The closest town is Annan. Taxis are easy & quick if required, also the bus stop is outside. Our place is ideal for families & we welcome well behaved, housetrained doggies too!

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Annan, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland Barn - 2 Bed

Watchhall Annexe is a recently converted barn, situated on the edge of the Royal Burgh Town of Annan. Attached to Watchhall House, it overlooks the Solway Firth and has views of the Lake District hills. It is within a 10-minute drive of the M6/M74 corridor on the Scottish-England border at Gretna. The area boasts lots of lovely places to eat and relax. Ideal for walking and cycling. Gretna Gateway Outlet Village and famous wedding venue is just a 10-minute drive away.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

Located in a quiet rural area, our lovely annex 1 bedroom apartment is located in a quiet village called Eaglesfield, half an hour from Carlisle and only a 5 minute drive from the M74 motorway. The annex is adjoined to our home, but boasts it’s own entrance and porch completely separate from our house allowing you full privacy during your stay. The annex also comes with off street parking for one medium sized car on our gated driveway.
