Portaferry Home with a View

Newly refurbished Northern Ireland Tourist Board Certified 1 bed self catering cottage attached to our house (cot is also available on request). Private courtyard and decking area ideal for a coffee in the sun or an alfresco dinner with BBQ facility. The cottage is situated on a small holding, with countryside views. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is available to the front of the property. We are a 20 min walk from Knockinelder Beach & 5 min drive (30 min walk) to Portaferry village.

The Bolthole at Strangford Lough

The Bolthole in Strangford is a small cosy home located in one of Northern Ireland's beautiful coastal villages. The house dating from the early 1800's, with a later extension, has living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and bathroom. There are great views across Strangford Lough to the coastal village of Portaferry. Strangford village is a great location near historic houses, castles and the Mourne mountains. It has great restaurants, pubs and perfect for Game of Thrones enthusiasts.

A stone’s throw from the shore, ideally placed to enjoy a relaxing visit to local restaurants, attractions and great outdoor activities on both sides of Strangford Lough. A lovingly restyled cosy cottage, filled with treasures and curios to enjoy in the relaxing atmosphere overlooking our garden and views to the castle. Private parking, 49 km to Belfast. A quiet rural spot by the sea, on the beautiful Ards Peninsula. Less than an hour's scenic drive from Belfast, from the Annex, walk the coast to Knockinelder beach for a wild swim, or paddle board with the visiting seals and curlews. Cycle the Ballyquintin route or try the nearby golf courses. Drive to Portaferrry to eat or get the ferry to Strangford. A place to relax (or work remotely) and explore stunning Strangford Lough and the rest of lovely County Down. Tourist Board Certified.

It is an adults only cottage so no under 18s allowed to stay or visit. No pets allowed to stay or visit.
