Welcome to The Brightside ! Our guest cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Port Angeles and one mile from shorelines of beautiful Freshwater Bay! This cozy cabin is your place to relax and enjoy the nature of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. One mile to the beach and boat launch. Minutes to Discovery trails, Olympic National Park, Hurricane Rige base, Hiking, mountain biking trails , fishing, mushroom hunting, kayaking spots , surf breaks, winery's and many more fun activities close by!

Soak up the sun on the huge deck located on Lake Sutherland. We get more sunshine on our deck than about 99% of lake! The way the sun sets leaves most of the lake in the shade...except for our deck! We get sunshine into the evenings! This is a duplex and the other side is also an Airbnb, so if you have more people coming, checkout the other listing and rent them both. This is a little slice of Heaven… Your cabin has high bluff waterfront amazing views, overlooking the Salish Sea… It literally overlooks Freshwater Bay, Vancouver Island, & San Juan Islands, & Victoria BC. (Beach access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. And, we know you will enjoy and love your stay, "By the Sea".

Indulge in tranquility at this riverside cabin. Relax by the gas fireplace or cook in the elegant kitchen with a view of the river and mossy trees from the deck. Explore the outdoors on the nearby Discovery Trail (0.08 miles). Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, and La Push. Forks and Kalaloch are nearby. Enjoy entertainment on two TVs (1 Blu-ray, 1 Wi-Fi), 50 dvds available, but note there's no dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and cell service may be INTERMITTENT.

The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

Eagleview is the larger of two adjacent homes located on a 10 acre property on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, about 14 miles west of Port Angeles. The two homes each have their own driveway and are separated by fencing for privacy. Aptly named, Eagleview has sweeping views of Striped Peak, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island in Canada. And eagles can be spotted soaring overhead, their white heads and tails flashing in the sun.
