The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Lazy Dog is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge. A secluded haven, our dog-friendly* casita has a fenced-in yard and private garden. We are surrounded by miles of off-road paths for quiet walks and easy bike rides, yet near enough to the Chupadera Mountains for the more adventurous hiker. Our spectacular sunsets are rivaled only by our memorable sunrises - both prime times to witness the native wildlife and bird migrations. * see Other Details below

Cottage of the Cranes

Cozy casita, surrounded by farmland in the Rio Grand Valley. Nestled between the mountains with beautiful sunrise's over the mountains in the east & spectacular sunsets to the west. The night sky is fantastic. 30 mins to Bosque del Apache & Ladd S.Gordon Wildlife preserve. Located minutes off the hwy & ten min from Socorro. Plenty of Parking, including trailers or RV's. Horse back trail rides & excursions into the high desert for Pictographs, petroglyphs or rockhounding can be arranged. .

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

Little House on the Bosque

Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. With no neighbors nearby, you can enjoy the beautiful night sky. We're not real fancy, but we're clean, comfortable and quiet! PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU RESERVE OUR HOUSE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE WiFi OR CABLE /LOCAL TELEVISION.

Cozy cabin with Highlands

Relax, unwind, and unplug with a beautiful view of the Manzano Mountains in our cozy cabin. Mountainair was known as the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” in its heyday and our land was used for dry-land bean farming. Remnants of homesteaders can still be found on the property. We now enjoy this beautiful location to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and can’t wait to share it with you! Our cabin will fit 2 adults plus a child comfortably with a queen bed and twin sofa bed.

Very quite neighborhood close walking distance to NM Tech, Restaurants and Grocery Store are also Close to the Socorro Plaza. ADT Alarm System and Surveillance System. Large back yard a Charcoal Grill available with picnic table. Fenced in back yard. The kitchen has pots pans, dishes, silverware everything is there for your use. Bathroom towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Refrigerated air conditioning. Please inform host if you will have a pet.

Off the Beaten Path, Comfy Cabin StarLink Internet

Quiet and Beautiful Country Living. Wi-Fi throughout the Cabin. Smells & noises of country life. Doorway into the bedrooms is under 6'. Bedroom ceilings are under 7'. You have to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the larger one. Accordion door between the 2 bedrooms for privacy. You can hear the coyotes and occasional dogs barking at night. You are welcome to wander the property. We also have ducks and chickens. We always have fresh eggs to share.

Lone Pine Inn

Converted 1942 lumber and hardware store. Close to main street, 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed with twin trundle. Plenty of floor in the living room for multiple cots/air mattresses (1 Queen air mattress provided). Non-smoking. Pets are welcome, fenced area in the back. Large parking area for RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles. I'm the owner Cindi Smith and I grew up here. Our town has perfect weather and lots to do. Come visit us!

NM Tech Parkside Getaway-20mi to Bosque Del Apache

Our casita is nestled beneath the trees of the lovely Rio Grande Valley. It’s minutes from the Los Lunas city center, but far enough away to get the full feel and experience of the countryside. Come enjoy the grassy surrounds, mature trees and peaceful serenity. We also have goats on the premise just waiting for you to visit with them.
