The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Being the home of a former corner gas/service station, we remodeled the inside to make it quaint, comfortable, and entertaining for a passer through or visitor of the small town of Palmer. Enjoy your stay and experience everything the surrounding areas of Merrick, Howard, and Hall counties have to offer! Local Wineries, the State Fair, Crane Watching and so much more are within 30 minutes of our unique destination.

Step out the back door and enjoy the wildlife and birds! 20 minutes from Lincoln. Located 5 minutes from Branched Oak Lake Recreation Area. We live on the property and will share front yard/driveway space. Your dogs are welcome on a leash. Ours will be as well.
