Lake Getaway near Itasca State Park

Book a vacation in beautiful Northwest Minnesota. House is on lovely Lake Alice, 7 miles from Lake Itasca State Park, 35 minutes south of Bemidji. Lake Alice does not have public access and, as a result, sees very little boating traffic - often, you'll be the only one on the water. Hike the miles of public land in the area, bird watch or get into the water. If fishing is your thing, the lake is teeming with Northern Pike and Crappies. Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities. Sorry we do not allow pets We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.
