The Dogwood House

A beautiful 550 square foot self built house in the woods. Many of the materials used in this house were either reused from old local houses or milled on the property itself, giving it a lot of character, while remaining modern. Quiet, private and surrounded by trees. 5 minutes from downtown Nevada City. Near a variety of outdoor activities. Down a private driveway with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Equipped with a full kitchen, BBQ, big bathtub, art, extra bedding, TV, library and washer.

Peaceful Retreat

This compact, self-contained apartment (with private entrance and small deck) is attached to an architecturally designed home nestled in a wooded hillside overlooking a large meadow. It’s somewhat remote location, 4 minutes drive above the town of Oregon House, is an ideal spot for a complete getaway. With the entire apartment to yourself it can be a perfect retreat, a romantic weekend, or a quiet work/study space. A place to relax, meditate, read and feel a world away from everyday concerns.

Nevada City Tiny Cabin in GREAT LOCATION!

Great location in town on the edge of the forest. Trail from cabin leads to Deer Creek Tribute Trail System and suspension bridge across Deer Creek Canyon. (AllTrails>Nevada City> Deer Creek Tribute Trail). Park right in front. Extra room for RV or boat. Cozy loft has queen bed, window and skylight; access by a six-step ladder. Convertible couch easily and quickly converts to flat bed. After you check out, you are welcome to leave your car safely near the cabin and return later to pick it up.

We welcome guests to experience our peaceful, wooded 30 acre property located in the foothills of Nevada County. Witness and listen to the sounds of running water as you recharge; lazing at our creek, hiking through the property, on the guest deck overlooking our natural setting or soaking in the hot tub as you enjoy the wonderful nightly sunsets and evening stars. This is a private guest house which is adjacent to the owners home. It is nestled next to beautiful 100 ft cedar, dogwood & pine trees on 2 wooded acres. This 400 sq ft guest house has a full kitchen, living room with vaulted ceiling, bathroom with walk-in shower, one bedroom with a queen size bed. Bedroom has its own entrance to the large deck. Three Ponds

No cleaning fee! Private suite .Fish our ponds and enjoy 7 acres of serenity @ play our 9 hole discgolf! 5 minutes to downtown Grass Valley. One hour to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe, 1 hour to Sacramento. Our house has been divided into two! We will be on one side of the house with a door separating us from the guest area. Guest area has separate entrance, it's own living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and bathroom, laundry area. We try to let you feel like we aren't even there!
