A Squirrels Paradise is an adorable tiny log cabin w/stunning views of Pilot Mountain, nestled in the countryside of Surry County, yet convenient to major highways. Within minutes of 3 state parks for hiking, fishing, kayaking, & horseback riding. Convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, area wineries, & golf courses. Nearby towns to visit for shopping or dining include Mayberry (Mt. Airy), Mt. Pilot (Pilot Mountain), & Winston-Salem. Additional cabin available on property for larger groups.

Slate Mtn Cabin, Cozy and Comfy, near Mayberry

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Cozy Cabin with a breath taking front porch view. Private getaway from town but close if necessities are needed. Just 10 min from Mayberry. One queen size bed and comfortable leather couch in living area. The kitchen has limited ability for cooking, ie. No stove. I have microwave, toaster oven, griddle and of course keurig. Great place to unplug and renew. 2 night minimum please. Guests will check in to obtain directions and keys and meet Host.

Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

There is heat in the cabin! Outdoor shower has been winterized(not available until April 15th, Outhouse bathroom, charcoal grill, & bistro table that provides a wonderful place to unwind! No running water inside, 5gallon jug provided. (No AC/full power without generator. Bring your own or rent one for a small fee)
