Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Over a bridge and steps from the Embudo River, this stylish, well-equipped cottage is nestled under cottonwood trees in a private canyon facing a stunning rock face. Relax on the deck overlooking the water, and during late spring and early summer, listen to the river as you fall asleep. The quaint village of Dixon (an artist and vineyard, orchard, organic farm community) is just a mile away.

Bali Spirit Earthship near Taos

Welcome to Bali Spirit Earthship, a spacious off-grid retreat near Taos with iconic Earthship design, desert views, a sunny greenhouse, and room to gather. This listing is for the private west side of Mother Earthship. The attached east-side casita, Raven’s Lair, is rented separately; both sides are private with only the driveway shared. Bali is ideal for guests who want a memorable high-desert stay with sustainable design, natural light, quiet surroundings, and modern comfort.

Farmhouse Casita in scenic Llano San Juan 10 minutes off the High Road to Taos. Full kitchen and bath with washer dryer. Private fenced yard with garden, patio table and lounge chair. Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available.

This ingenious home is luxuriously off-the-grid, with solar power, water harvesting, integrated greenhouse & expansive glass offering views of mountains & star filled nights. We even have "surprisingly good" WiFi throughout the home! For Earthship aficionados, our home is a "global model", the pinnacle of sustainable design and architectural beauty without sacrificing comfort.

The Cabin - Tiny Home near Santa Fe & Los Alamos

Plan your vacation at this cute little cabin! The kitchen is furnished with a refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and more. There is A/C and heating as well as a smart TV and Wifi so you can have a comfortable, relaxing, and productive stay! On top of all that, we are centrally located between Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Pojoaque and Taos so you can easily visit some of our most amazing tourist spots!

Grandma's Ol' House-10 Minutes Away From Sipapu

Grandmas Ol'House is a cozy little house next to the main highway, and 10 miles from the Sipapu Ski Loge. There is also great places to go tubbing, hiking, and bike riding. There are a couple of grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations for your convenience. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway, then this is a great place to stay!
