The host and his beautiful wife are very accommodating and very friendly. They offer us a tour for us to enjoy our stay in Palawan. The room is clean, WiFi is strong which is a good thing as I need to attend some classes while staying there.

I was just randomly looking for a place away from city life and this place was just perfect. Not fancy and just exactly what I was looking for. Got the tree house accomodation which is really laid back as I wanted it to be. Clean private and shared rest rooms. You also get to use cooking materials for free. Fresh air and trees all around. Wherever I look around pleases my eyes as concrete structures are every minimal. Oh, they have a backyard poultry where you can get eggs free for breakfast. They also have native pigs that you can request for "lechon" (at a cost ofcourse). No television but you'll never get bored at night. Go out of your accomodation, have a bon fire set up and do star gazing. :)

We enjoyed our stay at Jonathan's place. The different accommodations are incredible and built with so much love and richness in detail. Jonathan is a nice host and helped us a lot. The cleanliness is also something that stood out. We enjoyed the food market nearby - you have to try the drinks and the food. It's a nice place to stay in Puerto Princesa.

Sanctuary, safe haven, aesthetic monastery. Those are words which seldom come to mind when staying in Air Bnb facilities, but nonetheless they describe how I perceived the place to be, having stayed for what ended up being many days. The atmosphere is oozing of tranquility, mixed with a dash of seriousness and respect which turns backpacking tourists into humble visitors who readily adopts to the simple house rules as an appreciation of their stay in this magnificent place. I have never seen cleaner washroom facilities and never encountered an Airbnb host who responds as quickly and professionally as Jonathan. Everything from prolonging one’s stay to visiting other destinations in the Philippines, he responds to within minutes in a friendly and professional manner. I left the guesthouse mentally and physically charged and give this unique place my warmest recommendation.

Merci beaucoup 😊 Attention: il faut prendre en compte que se déplacer est assez difficile lorsque vous loger dans ce Airbnb. Aller à Lipa n’est pas évident et Batangas, ou même Manille, encore pire. Heureusement que Mam Brenda était là. Elle a été très gentille avec moi et m’a emmenée la où je devais me rendre.

I would highly recommend Nature’s Retreat! The name is quite accurate, and if you are looking to really immerse yourself in a beautiful nature setting away from it all, this is the place. Our crew was nine friends from around the world who gathered here over New Year’s, and to give a sense of the experience, on NYE, we all waded out into the warm shallow bay surrounded by the tropical jungle and mountains, had the hosts turn off the electricity to the Retreat and welcomed in 2020 with the only lights being the stars and bright Milky Way above. Stunning. As were the bonfire the hosts built, the trips they took us on around the islands with the property’s catamaran, the massages they organized (so cheap and very very good) and the other tours they helped us arrange. In terms of the hosts, we cannot say enough good things about Sam, his family and his crew. They are incredibly kind and affable human beings, completely professional and on top of all of the logistics and always available for any assistance or advice. And a real bonus is that Sam and his wife are incredible cooks - we learned they own a restaurant in PP, and it showed in all the meals which were very well done. There is no question the place is rustic, and it is secluded (no neighbors). And that is its amazing charm. But don’t expect to be able to just pop in and out of town in 5-10 minutes on a whim. Our only caution is, before booking, check Air Swift for available flights in and out of El Nido Lio airport. Otherwise you have to fly in to Puerto Princesa and it’s about a 5-6 hour drive to the Retreat from there, depending on traffic. Shouldn’t be a problem if you look well enough in advance (which we failed to do) – so just a lesson learned. All in all, this was a really special trip for our group, and we would really recommend you consider it for yourself.

Beautiful place to get away from the busy city and the caretakers are very accomodating. 1. Definitely off grid - no reception at all and took a lot of public transport to get here but definitely worth the trip 2. Not a lot of food choices in the cafe during our stay but there are nearby sari sari stores to buy snacks from and theres paluto service care of ate Timak and her family 3. Nearby residents sort of disrupt the quiet with their loud music but other than that, the place is actually really peaceful. Overall a nice place and hope to come back again to try the other activities available!

A different accommodation with a magic associated with our childhood imagination. It is very clean, well located and has a wonderful view of the beach and the sea. Contact by email is difficult, but when contacting Mrs. Fen by phone, everything works perfectly, she is a very friendly lady. I recommend!

The most generous and personable hosts. The farm is their home, and they generously share it with guests taking “mi casa es su casa” quite literally. We stayed with our toddler, Doberman, and driver. We occupied both guest houses and really enjoyed the retreat into nature. Tagaytay weather was incredible, and if it got a little hot during the afternoon a strong working AC in the rooms was a quick solution. The WiFi connection was great, and we enjoyed having Netflix and YouTube during the times our toddler needed a little break from all the farm action. The accommodations themselves didn’t have en-suite bathrooms but they were just a few steps away and we were given our own private bathrooms where we were able to keep our things. They were extremely clean and spotless, and shower tiles were toddler safe. Food was delicious and fresh, and they offered a relaxing massage service. Be sure to ask about their healthy products that they sell- we came home with a few! 10 star stay!

We had the best time in the treehouse with a stunning view of the ocean. Alfred and Maria are the perfect hosts, putting so much love into their home and sharing this beautiful place with their guests. Despite the strong wind, we slept wonderfully – including a mosquito net (which wasn’t even necessary because there are no mosquitoes). In the morning, there was coffee and a delicious organic homemade breakfast (available for a fair extra charge). The dogs are super sweet and act as the feel-good managers. We wish we had more time to spend at this fantastic and loving place. Thanks to the excellent WiFi, it’s also suitable for digital nomads, even with occasional power outages. We can truly recommend this accommodation!

I initially booked the tree house but their upgrade offer was wayyy better. You get your own pool, and lounge area. Especially enjoyed the hammock next to the pool. Very helpful staff, ate mavic and ate che. The stay came with A HEAVY breakfast, and they can serve other meals. Glad i found the place at a very short notice, good thing also is that Arnel was very responsive.

Séjour parfait du début à la fin ! Tout était pris en charge : transport, activités, nourriture, location de scooter… L’hôte était toujours disponible et aux petits soins, rendant l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’endroit est magnifique, idéal pour se détendre et profiter pleinement. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Amazing tranquil gem. Will for sure stay here again. The views and vibe of this place are amazing. Only to be topped by the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. It Felt like spending time with family. And it had some cute little fur babies as well, for you pet lovers. It is little drive from the main town, but was a beautiful scooter ride that I enjoyed doing daily. Food was all amazing and again I can’t speak to how amazing the hospitality was and I cannot wait to return. My only negative comment is I wish I had booked for longer. I Highly recommend this oasis in the jungle, you will not regret it ❤️❤️

Should stay at least two days. Very relaxing. Perfect for those who are looking for a slow weekend. Quite far from the main road so getting in and out may quite be a challenge without a car. Make sure you book your car ride in advance. Ate Darlene is a doll. Very helpful and responsive.

Maria’s place is the ultimate place to go if you want to relax and spend quality time with family/friends, and enjoy what nature has to offer😊. I am not surprised why Maria is a super host (checks all the boxes all around). She also has well trained staff that keeps the place clean. I stayed at the treehouse which was very comfortable and I loved listening to the ocean, birds and the fresh air! Guests should not miss the delectable dishes prepared by JV with very fresh ingredients! Definitely a must go place to visit! I can’t wait for the next time I can visit.😊😊😊 Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation!

Location is a quiet area with just a right of way to the beach. Limited food choices mostly pizza and pasta. No credit card payment but they accept Gcash and Paypal.

We had a great stay in this place. We love those cute cottages. Bathrooms are clean. Kuya LJ had been very helpful. Only problem was the beach. We didn't enjoy not swim there because no place to swim there due to load of sharp rocks at the bottom. As in, even if you go 5ft deep still rocks. So we just rented videoke to enjoy the rest of the night. The next morning, we went for water activity at the other resort. It was like 10 min drive to get there and the water was much better. It had rocks but it's not much as this resort has.

Great stay we’ve had at the Treehouse, I’d definitely recommend ! Shout out to the staff :)
