At 3,210 meters, the Poon Hill sunrise view of the snowy rugged Annapurna Himalaya range was worth every grueling step it took to get there! Having the Himalayas close up, literally almost in my face, was a breathtaking sight! The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is a 4 – 5- day hike in the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. It takes a moderate level of fitness to complete, and the max elevation is 3,210 meters (so there’s no real risk of altitude sickness).
