The Old Farm Bothy at Middleton

The Old Farm Bothy is a cosy hideaway for two in a beautiful scenic spot on a working hill farm at the foot of the Angus Glens. With a wood burning stove, small garden with panoramic views and easy walks from the door it is an ideal place to switch off and relax with a good book and fresh air. It's also a great base for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and exploring central Scotland. Studio accommodation with separate galley kitchen and shower room. Outdoor furniture; adjacent parking. Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
