We also have several animals on our property including horses, dogs, cats and wildlife such as antelope. Our space started as my husbands "man cave." A place to display his hunting accomplishments and do all things manly. Yet, as the project progressed it turned into a lovely rustic lodge that we'd like to share with you. This beautiful 3-acre property, once the Swisher Farm, is today a working homestead, with dozens of chickens and a large garden. This quiet oasis is located within the city of Spearfish. We have another rental on the property that was built by Cappie, co-host of Building Outside the Lines on Magnolia Network, as his own residence. This adorable off-grid cottage is handmade, from the bespoke front door to the custom 2-headed shower.

The Notch Cabin is a brand new cabin at Hinterwood Inn & Cabins situated just 60 ft. from National Forest, making hiking right out your front door easy.
