We enjoyed the stay throughout. The host was proactive when communicating with us and ensured we were settled into the hotel. Staffs at the hotel were really friendly too. The location of the hotel had enough privacy and quietness as it was tuck in a quiet street. But at the same time, it was easily accessible to tourist attractions through grab. If you are like us who enjoy exploring through walking, this is a good option. We could reach Penang Street Art within 10mins taking a chill walk to see the area. Definitely worth the price!

Thanks so much for the wonderful stay, we absolutely loved Deniel's place! It felt free, cozy, and truly homey. We especially appreciated the beautiful blend of contemporary and heritage design, it’s clear how much passion and effort Daniel has poured into the space. He’s incredibly talented! So lucky to have met him and to have had the chance to chat a bit. We enjoyed every moment there! And absolutely adored his lovely, friendly doggies, Lilo and Mei Mei~ also big thanks also to his super helpful butler. Let’s keep in touch, hope to see you again soon. Cheers!

Excellent Stay in the Heart of the City! I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location is perfect right in the middle of the city, with everything within walking distance. There are plenty of eateries and shopping centers nearby, making it super convenient for dining and entertainment. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The host was also very responsive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. If you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the city, this is definitely a great choice. Highly recommended!

Another great stay in Room 401 at Kim Haus! The staff here are very kind and even helped me work through the AirBnB refund process when I had to cut my trip short. The location is great, near lots of restaurants. The lobby cafe is super comfortable and convenient too. Chulia Street is a short walk. There is a Link Bike dock only five minutes away on foot. The mattress is firm and the bedding is always clean and new. There is a fridge and hot water kettle too. I used the gym equipment this time too which, though not state-of-the-art, was handy and fun to use. There is live music every night in the bar, but it's always over by a set time. The room is a 4th floor walk-up, and with all the windows you can get a terrific breeze, even in hot days. There is a mosque nearby which is definitely audible during their calls to prayer, but that's the case everywhere in Georgetown. I will definitely continue to stay at Kim Haus when I visit Penang.

We had a nice 2 nights stay, the location was perfect, many things to do and see at a walking distance. The host is very nice and arranging. The room was clean, and the shared spaces were appreciated. A little downside is we could hear many street noise from the room, but I would still definitely recommand for a short stay.

a really great deal for staying at penang, specifically in george town. near from rent bike, from lebuh armenian, some restaurants, and some pretty coffeeshop. the room is much more better than the photos. have a bright lamp, window, and the bathroom is wide. the owner very responsible and friendly. Thanks a lot🙏

Extremely nice place right in the middle of buzzing Georgetown. Everything is walkable but if you feel adventurous then rent a scooter one block away and explore Penang Hill as well. Great value for this price. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again when I’m in Penang once more.

Great location, friendly welcoming staff. Don't expect the Hilton, it is an old building in the best location. Bed very comfortable, hot shower, good AC, place hang clothes, tables, chairs. Everything close by VERY QUITE AT NIGHT!
