We have been coming to King Island for over 20 years so know it well. We must say that the most recent opening of LEGS Italian Restaurant is an absolute must. The venue along with lovely service and beautiful food provided us with a great experience. Thanks Ian, Ann and Chef Amy for a memorable evening. These people deserve to succeed. They are a wonderful addition to Lucinda’s Wild Harvest at Grassy, her restaurant at the Boomerang Motel and Oleada in Currie. No shortage of high quality dining. Olwyn’s Roaring Forties completes a very lovely package. Many thanks

Alexandras was simply wonderful. Great attention to detail. Everything supplied that you could ever need. Hosts very warm and friendly. Quiet scenic location, near to shops and harbour.

Let’s just start and finish with the location. KI is an amazing place to visit, and this is a great part of the island. Protected from west winds, and swells, if you had a yacht, this is where you would park! The place is modern, clean and tidy and super comfy. Looking out from the lounge room, you’re looking at the ocean, and snorkelling reveals a wonderland.. We didn’t want to leave, wishing we had booked for longer.

I was on a surf and golfing trip with 3 of my best mates. And wow Yambacoona delivered for accommodation. A beautifully restored and spacious villa in the northern part of King island - it was perfect for our needs. Close to great surf and golf, we really felt we were staying at the perfect end of the island for us. BBQ'n every night, kitchen was stocked with amenities, we wanted for nothing - stocked up in Currie and we were set for days of uninterrupted peace and surf. We'll be back to king Island, and Yambacoona House will be what we will be trying to book again - cheers Gordon and Kym!

Where to even begin! Deborah and Adrian were incredibly friendly, proactive, informative and accommodating hosts. They made us feel right at home before we even arrived, and they were quick to respond to any inquiry we had and were extremely generous. The moment you enter the property, you're greeted with a wave of calmness and warmth, followed by time slowing completely down as you enter the house and your eyes are assaulted by big windows, exposed wood and an ocean view to die for. The space speaks to you and for me said "Welcome, slow down and be at one with the space and nature that surrounds you". The house is extremely well stocked, from firewood and kindling, pantry items, cutlery, dishes...the works. The three of us also agreed that the bedding and mattresses were the best we have ever slept on. Like clouds that hug you and ensure a solid nights sleep amongst the quiet and ocean waves breaking and cool breeze. Thanks again and we look forward to booking our next trip :)

Easy check in and immediately we felt relaxed. Easy walking distant to the shops ,post office ,bakery and pub. Opposite the house is pathway to lookout over Currie Harbour. Kitchen has everything you need with top quality appliances. Comfy lounge and a super TV along with interesting books to read. Dining area has plenty of chairs. The beds are so so comfortable. The HWS handled the showers with abundant hot water. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

An amazing place in a beautiful secluded spot. A lovely place to recharge with fantastic facilities and amenities.

Excellent location, easy walk to the Main Street for groceries, bakery and cafe just up the road. Lovely, clean modern home with great outdoor areas. Highly recommend, will stay here again.
