Stayed for 2 days. Good place to relax and enjoy with family. Property is hardly 100 metres to see and have sea view from bed room, living room and kitchen as well. Staffs are friendly and supportive. One thing to improve is the lift which makes sound while closing and opening. Recommended for someone who wants to relax away from city hustle.

We had Sunset Bay booked for a family get together and it was worth it. Place was spacious, and was maintained clean and hygienic. Manager ensured that checkin was very smooth. Care taker was available all the time. Kitchen was fully equipped with all cutlery, utensils and Glassware in place. It was kind to allow us to use the place for an hour post checkout as one of us had to attend a meeting. Toothpaste was not provided in the toiletries and it was difficult to find a shop for it. Restaurants are available at 5 km from the place. Swiggy is available with most of the restaurants delivering at a 45 minute window. Overall this place is absolutely recommended for a getaway.

A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of the City We had a wonderful 2-day family vacation at Nandani’s place. The cottage feels like a dream straight out of the 1900s—cozy yet spacious, with a beautiful garden and lawn perfect for relaxing during the day or enjoying the evening breeze. Despite being right in the city center, the location is peaceful, and most attractions are within walking distance. For a great meal, we recommend Tiger Tiger for lunch—it’s conveniently located right in front of the cottage. The caretakers are incredibly honest and kind, and their three well-mannered children respect your privacy, only interacting when approached. Overall, a perfect blend of vintage charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

For a true escape from the everyday, Anas's place is ideal. The journey involves a scenic (and slightly bumpy) 5km jeep ride from the city, leading to a wonderfully secluded spot. Though the off-road final stretch meant relying on Anas for transport, he was always readily available. The clean, private rooms are a bonus, as is the chance to see local wildlife – an elephant sighting was a highlight for us! Their small tea plantation and guava trees offer interesting tastes. However, the real star, as many others have noted, is the incredible food prepared by Anas's mother. It's genuinely restaurant-worthy, and we'd happily return just to savor her cooking again.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

Ashit thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful done up home. The experience of the house was extremely good. However, not much to do around except the sunsets and walk on the beach. The beach obviously is not safe to swim. But it was a nice quiet getaway and our pet loved it too.

You will feel close to nature. The place is very calm and serene. On one side lies Gurupura river on the other side is Tannirbhavi beach. This property is on the river side. The property is exactly as described. The locality is very safe. People are great here. In the morning you will get a nice sunrise view from the river side. For the sunset you can go to the beach which barely at 500m distance. To commute to the city, the cheap and best way is go by ferry. The ferry dock is at walking distance of about a kilometre. From there boats are available from morning around 7-7:30 AM till 7:30 PM at interval for every 15-20 mins. D'Souza family is very friendly and helpful. They will give you lot of local recommendations. They are great hosts. Would love to stay again in future😊. PS: You will love doing kayaking here.
