The house is beautiful and very well kept. The view is amazing. The surprise play room was a beautiful gem for the kiddos. Estelle was an amazing. It was just perfect! We will definitely be back.

Great house, just like the listing. Very peaceful setting in a really quiet area, but still close to available amenities. The kitchen is the best equipped AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Overall a great place to stay, and Mike and Dora are excellent hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place is very relaxing away from everyone and everything. The trails were amazing and fun for our kids to ride their atvs on. The owners were so easy to contact and talk to. Very nice and very helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

The home was wonderful. The view is fabulous and the amenities were all that we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and there were great books and lots of games to keep us busy. We will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips.

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. We loved staying here. The toys were a big hit with the kids especially since the weather was colder than we expected. We loved the walk down to the creek. it was lovely.

This was such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful with directions and suggestions of things to do in the area. The place was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time visiting Floyd and the surrounding area.

The home was beautiful and the amenities were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and spices. The home was very clean and very cozy. There is a neighboring town about 15 minutes away, so there were plenty of food and grocery options. It is a perfect remote get away.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

We arrived at the mill having driven out from Asheville the weekend of the hurricane. Adam & Marcie could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We only wished we had booked to stay for longer as we needed time to decompress after our experience, however it really was the right place to be. Thank you very much

It's always a pleasure to stay at Miss Susan and Mr. Tom's charming bed and breakfast. It is beyond comfortable and inviting. The breakfast muffins were just wonderful 😊

What a relaxing, worry free stay! The room was comfortable, the water was very hot and there is ample space for 2-4 people. The EcoLodge also has super comfortable beds and pillows. Waking up to see the fog on the pond was wonderful to see. We really enjoyed the farm store on-property as well. Wish we were there for longer!

Beautiful location with simply appointed and super clean rooms. The common area is great for relaxing with family or friends and had very comfortable seating and enjoyable views. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but hope to return and do that next time.

We had 6 adults and 2 children visiting the area for a family funeral in Patrick Springs, VA. Martinsville was nearest larger city but hotel rooms as pricey per night as this rental and we were all together and 15 minutes closer. Was the perfect 4 bed and 3 bath home for us to enjoy our time together and Bessie was awesome. Thank you!

What an incredible break away for our family! It was just what we needed. Cozy Doe is absolutely gorgeous. Our family had so much fun with the puzzles and board games. Waking up and sitting out on the deck in the mornings with the mountains coming alive and a cup coffee was just serene. And then win(e)ding down in the evenings with the sounds of the stream. We wanted to unwind and that is exactly what we got! Would definitely recommend and visit again!

The house had a lot of character and charm, and is very accomodating!! ♥️

The land around the cabin was gorgeous, a great place for our dogs to run and play. The cabin had a really cool vintage vibe with a wonderful screened in porch that was perfect for reading and relaxing with the calming sounds of nature. The Smith River a great place for fishing was within a 10 minute drive. Would definitely love to make this an annual trip destination.

We had the best weekend ever! This place made my husband’s birthday special. We were both amazed at the view. Waking up every morning to see the sunrise and hear the birds sing was the most beautiful and relaxing experience. The cabin had everything we needed and the space was just perfect. Definitely disconnected from the world and enjoyed every second of it. If you are someone that is looking to stay here please do. Trust me when I say the views you could see from the back porch and the nature sounds felt like a dream. Also the host Marissa always responded to all our questions and even had so many recommendations not only restaurants but also for trails. Would love to stay here again in the future.

A home before our home! We stayed for a little over a month. It’s a beautiful location with trails, beautiful wildlife, a pond and creek that was a fan favorite, and a fenced in yard to let the kiddo and dogs run and rove. It had everything you would need and is conveniently in between Floyd and Hillsville AND the Blue Ridge Parkway! Mr. Bailey was friendly, informative, and his dog Rosie is a sweetheart!

We stayed for a week with our 2 pups and loved it! Was very private even though there are 2 houses close there was no one in either during our stay. Extremely secluded and quiet with 0 cell service - exactly what we were looking for! Looking forward to staying again and actually catching some fish! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions, just prepare it’s a 20+ minute drive to town if you need anything but worth every penny!
