Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

I had a comfortable stay at Louise's property. The place was sparkling clean and you get to have your own space. The host is very responsive at all times and she allowed me to check out at any time since it was a public holiday that day, I appreciated that gesture as I was not in too much of a hurry to leave the place. She also offered to have my laundry done since I was there for a couple of days, I unfortunately saw the message on the last day of my stay but luckily I didn't need any clothes to be washed. Thank you Louise for being an amazing host. I got to enjoy a walk around the area as well, it is very peaceful and secure.

This was my second stay here. Such a nice place, great location, convenient. Really good!

I highly recommend the lemon tree cottage to anyone seeking peace and tranquility, the place was amazing. We stayed at the cottage for 5 days and it’s exactly what we needed. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed the tree house, my personal favourite was the bathtub and the kitchen. Given the caretaker was always responsive and friendly, the property is well maintained and everything is just spotless. Will definitely be visiting again

Nice cottage with a beautiful outdoor area where you can make a delicious barbeque. The kitchen is well prepared for long stays. The shower works well. The area feels safe and there are good supermarkets within walking distance. Plenty of options nearby to dine out and/or have a coffee. Vicky, the cleaning lady is super helpful and even if you don't need cleaning she is there to provide clean linens, towels, or whatever you might need. Host answered all our questions nicely and timely and was flexible on our checkout time since our bus left a bit later and there were no other guests coming the same day.

The cottage was in a great location, modern and clean! the garden is beautiful and the cottage has all the modern facilities required for short stays. amazing place and I will definitely use it again when needed thanks for a great stay!

Beautifully laid out and very clean and comfortable. I only had the pleasure of the one night but will definitely be back. Parkview is very pretty and the local village centre still has a lot of character with some really cool restaurants and pubs.

I really enjoyed the stay. Apart from clean, peaceful and relaxing accomodation, Debbie's responsiveness and pleasant disposition made it also an easy stay. Having a separate entrance, ample space to move around and immaculate garden surroundings, the cottage provided very good value - more than exceeding expectations.

Slightly Older property but exceptional attention to detail. If you think you forgot something they already thought of providing it and then some little surprises. Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, cleaning staff did an excellent job even the mats next to the beds were replaced. Friendly accommodating host and property manager. Catered to ones every need. Would definitely recommend and use again. Loved being there.

We really liked staying at Debbie’s house. The setting is lovely and the house was both spacious and comfortable. Debbie is a great host and her added touches such as coffee, rusks, fruit made the house really homely and were much appreciated.

Jill is an absolutely awesome host, very friendly and helpful. She made sure we were taken care of from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was clean and tidy. A generous deck area to soak up the sunshine. Plenty of emergency information available inside the unit, as well as extinguisher and first aid kit should it be needed. The place is quiet, beautiful and had everything we needed to make our staff very comfortable. We enjoyed our holiday because the accommodation was comfortable, more like home away from home, even my 10 month old baby was catered for with a high chair and cot. I will definitely return for future holidays in SA and I 101% recommend this place especially for small families, it’s exquisite and the hosts are friendly and hospitable.

My Partner and I booked Mariska and Xander’s place for the weekend and we immediately felt right at home! Xander was there when I arrived to welcome me, since I arrived first for an early check in. He showed me how the jacuzzi and everything else works Was even nice enough to carry my heavy suitcase to the bedroom which is upstairs. Was proactive in responding to our messages asking for instructions to switch on the oven. The place is amazing and we will definitely be back! Place and Host deserve more than 5 stars!

Beautifully decorated cottage in lovely location next to the park, coffee shop and shops. Spent a lovely Christmas there, had an amazing kitchen with everything you could need.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The Short stay here made me feel very at home and although i left halfway for other things，i would definitely choose this place Again if i needed to return to Johannesburg😄

If it was possible to rate 100 I would, this has been by far the most relaxing and clean Airbnb I used for working. It was a perfect spot, closer to all beautiful shopping malls. I was able to do all my errands around Johannesburg. The cleaner Thobi was the sweetest esp when I was not feeling well. I am surely coming back here for my month or 2 months off.
