The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Located approximately 15 minutes from Dargaville and 10 minutes from Glinks Gully, this is the perfect base to explore the Poutu peninsula and wider Dargaville area. Alternatively you can just relax in the sunshine reading a book or just rest and re-energise! The pavilion is the perfect home away from home getaway.

Mānuka Valley Farm

Escape to your own rustic sanctuary. Start your morning with tea by the babbling stream, and seasonal fruit from our orchard and mini food forest. While our house and neighbours are nearby, this space is tucked away for a quiet, intimate feel. A short walk to the village, and many tourist locations under an hour away. The highlight? Sharing a bottle of wine in our secluded double baths—the ultimate private retreat under the stars.

Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Fairytale Treehouse

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

Waha Ridge Oyster Tent

This unique and romantic escape is situated in a place of outstanding natural beauty. Perched on the hill, the tent overlooks the oyster beds of Pukapuka Inlet. You will treasure this magical spot which sees in both the sunrise and the sunset from the spacious, wrap around deck. This is truly a luxe glamping experience with beautiful linens and quality modern fixtures.
