Minutes to Discovery trails, The Olympic National Park, Hurricane Rige base, Hiking, mountain biking trails , fishing, mushroom hunting, kayaking spots , surf breaks, winery's and many more fun activities close by!

Welcome to Tall Cedars, Experience the Olympic Peninsula at this private, serene hideaway - surrounded by old cedars, ferns, huckleberries & more. It is well equipped for a cozy getaway in the forest, including a hot tub! This home is a short 5-minute drive from the Salt Creek Recreation Area which includes Crescent Beach (surf & sand), Striped Peak (hiking trails & views) & Tongue Point (excellent tide-pooling). Yet just a 20-minute drive from town in Port Angeles for easy shopping & dining.

Indulge in tranquility at this riverside cabin. Relax by the gas fireplace or cook in the elegant kitchen with a view of the river and mossy trees from the deck. Explore the outdoors on the nearby Discovery Trail (0.08 miles). Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, and La Push. Forks and Kalaloch are nearby. Enjoy entertainment on two TVs (1 Blu-ray, 1 Wi-Fi), 50 dvds available, but note there's no dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and cell service may be INTERMITTENT.

Mallard Cove is the best place on Lake Sutherland! Our lake-front and massive deck literally get the very last bit of sun all summer long! Our neighborhood is also full of friendly, easy going people. You should have an amazing time! Nearby is kayak rental on the lake, Spruce Railroad trail, Olympic Discovery Trail, Pyramid Peak trail, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Elwha river, Hoh rainforest, Merrymere Falls, Mt. Storm King, and more. The lake is accessible from the yard. The location and view are exceptional. This is a very relaxing and beautiful property.
