Guests also have access to fishing, swimming, hiking, and complimentary kayaking on Bethesda Lake, with ride-in access to the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trail system just down the road. Lake ‘O the Pines camping space!

Pop up your tent and enjoy nature on this open space near Lake O’ of the Pines! Boat ramp access down the street! Quick drive to town of Avinger, Gilmer, Longview and Daingerfield State Park! Camping area has access on both Pleasant Hollow Drive and Navajo Drive. 3 steps are on Pleasant Hollow Drive side because the property is on a hill. Primitive site-there is no electricity or water. Just ask to pack out what you pack in. Signal is not very strong in the area so I suggest you pre-download.

Quaint local Country Store 2 miles down the road. There is a pool table, home cooked meals, a little gambling machine, and free TV there. They have a large selection of beers and some wines. It is BRING YOUR OWN TENT situation. The owner, Mike, lives in a yurt on the property too. He is a GREAT chef if you want to pay extra for him to cook!

Situated near a small brook in the Edendell Valley, scattered with massive oak trees, pines, and two ponds, the blue ridges of the Ouachita mountains rising in the distance, this campsite at Ouachita Campground offers a wonderful place to rest, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Creation! There are hammock hooks for hanging hammocks between some trees, and showers, toilets, laundry, and kitchinette are available at a short walk or drive. This is for the campsite only. No tent included.

Adult, sober, safe and sacred space for YOUR tent. The property has incredible views and plenty of room to spread out or huddle up near the lodge and back bathroom with room to explore.
