Quiet location with a short walk for elevated views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, Flaxmill Bay, Shakespears Cliff and Cooks Beach. Six minute drive to the centre of town, close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Whitianga and surrounding Coromandel. Take a short walk to take in the views over Wharekaho beach or follow the paths to take you to the beach.

Enjoy the private, tranquil setting of this fully appointed apartment here on the celebrated Whitianga Waterways. Easy walking distance to Whitianga shops, trendy eateries, and the magical white sands of Buffalo Beach. Also visit iconic Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Your hostess, Dorothy sailed the world with husband Derek. I am now comfortably settled in our shore-side residence. Come and be at home here. As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.

Centrally located, within a short walk to launch your kayak in one of the canals, or alternatively a short flat cycle or drive to gorgeous Buffalo beach, the town center with its assortment of cafes, restaurants, shops etc, only a couple of minutes commute.

Quail Cottage

A beautiful loft-style cottage on a private property only moments from Cooks Beach. Take in the serenity of this coastal Hamptons style space, complete with a kitchenette, ensuite, lounge area and private deck. Here you can relax and enjoy a drink overlooking the landscaped gardens, with only the native quail birdsong and ocean waves to be heard. Set in a quiet location, local restaurants, convenience stores, tennis courts and nature reserves are all within an easy walking distance.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. BACK OF PROPERTY – Cozy on Cook Enjoy a quiet, self-contained studio at the back of the property, offering a more secluded stay with a private enclosed deck. Just a short walk to the hot mineral Lost Springs and the town centre and waterfront. Coromandel Sanctuary

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

Access not suited for those with limited mobility.

Twin Palms self contained accommodation

Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.
