Garland offers many activities in the winter months including cross country skiing on the golf course (ski rentals available at Garland), Fish Camp for ice fishing, sleigh rides during the Christmas season. There are ample snowmobile trails in the Lewiston area, with parking available for your trailer at the entrance parking lot to Golf Cottage or main parking lot at Garland. 2 parking spots at cottage for auto/sleds.

Less than one mile to Luzerne center, the famous Ma Deeters, luzerne exspress, American legion , the Ausable river is just 5 miles north, and the ORV trail head is less than a mile. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Swim off the dock in the beautiful spring fed crystal clear waters. Fish off the dock or out on the lake. No speedboats or jet skis just relax and float on a tube. Enjoy a fire or barbeque. Close to fishing and watersports on popular Ausable River. Close to trail entrance for snowmobiles and ATV's. If you are looking for a comfortable get away for the weekend, a week away from the office or a relaxing couples retreat, our “Cozy Cabin by the Lake” will be perfect for your time away. Our all wood chalet is set in a wooded drive by private Snyder Lake. You can bring your own canoe or kayak OR fish or swim from the small dock. If you like golf, the beautiful Garland resort is just 4 minutes up the road. There is not a boat launch.
