Enjoy this cozy cabin in the Huron National Forest area. Located across the road from the beautiful AuSable River! A great river for kayaking (4 included), Canoeing (1 included) and a renowned trout fishing. Come and enjoy all the local trails for HIKING, DIRT BIKES, ATV'S and SNOWMOBILING! Or just sit and relax around a campfire! The cabin is fully furnished with all bedding, towels, dish cloths etc. and a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. There are outdoor and indoor games. DVD and movies

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Sleeps 8 with full kitchen and bath. All dishes and bedding included . Room for trailers/campers in yard. fenced back yard pets welcome. Biker friendly. paved road. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A great location to relax and appreciate nature. The house is built into a hill which provides great views of wildlife, stars and sunrises. The master bedroom is located on the top floor and gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding environment. Enjoy a cup of coffee out on the porch swings and watch the sunrise. View deer pass by in the evenings and gaze at the stars as they come out. A great place to stay away from home.
