Lake home with great views in Alexandria

Lake Henry is the hidden gem of Alexandria. This lower traffic lake is perfect for swimming or boating and it has some of the best Walleye fishing in the area. Located in the heart of Alexandria this house is minutes from everything while still having a country feel- you will not find more stunning views. The stylish interior has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, multiple TVs, and fast Wifi. The exterior has a beautiful 3-season porch and deck that faces the lake along with a fire pit.

Cabeezoe ( half cabin / half gazebo )

Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

The Hurlen Hytte (cabin, in Norwegian)

This cozy, Norwegian inspired cottage is literally steps away from Smith lake and is located between Alexandria and Osakis, Minnesota. The interior features, rustic knotty pine, hardwood floors, stone fireplace and sunlit porch. Step outside to the layered deck, grill, fire pit, log swing and dock. The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Steps from a private beach, guests can relax by the water, enjoy sunrise and sunset views, gather around the firepit, and enjoy private dock access to enjoy lake life. The cabin is within a 5-minute walk to Barsness Park, the public beach, and the Lake Minnewaska boat landing. Close to downtown Glenwood to explore local shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. Please note: Cabin is not handicap accessible.

This home is set up like a duplex with owners occupying the top (we have 3 young children) & guests having full, private access to the bottom half. Guests are given a private garage ( not available November to April) & backyard w/ free firewood. Private entry gives access to 2,200 sq ft of space that includes a 3 seasons room w/ gas fireplace, laundry, & full kitchen. 1 open room, one private, & one partial room w/ no windows. Close to the bike trails, beaches, mini-golf, etc.

Rizzy's On the Lake Oland Villa

Oland Villa, named after a small island and province just off the southeast coast of Sweden, is a two-bedroom, one-bath, dog-friendly unit offering a single full bed in one room and twin bunks in the other. The living room has a pullout sofa for additional sleeping space. Kitchens are fully stocked with basic cooking essentials and panoramic views of Lake Osakis. All units have central air and heat, all bedding linens, bath towels plus basic kitchen essentials are provided.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Corn hole, disc golf, croquet, & badminton are available. Or if you want to hit the lake, grab one of the kayaks and enjoy paddling the peaceful Lake Charley. We are perfectly located on Lake Charley, and only minutes from biking/walking trails, Brophy Park, Carlos Creek Winery and much more!
