The cottage is located in Howard, PA with a view of Foster Joseph Sayers Lake and Bald Eagle State Park. The nearly 8-mile-long lake has 23 miles of shoreline offer excellent warm-water fishing. Bald Eagle State Park has a boat launch in Howard, lighted and provides 24-hour access. The cottage is 30 minutes from Penn State University in State College. 20 minutes from Lock Haven University, Lock Haven. There are many local activities. This cabin sets on three private acres and is located on the Bennett Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek in the heart of the Pennsylvania elk herd where you don’t have to go far at all to see the elk. When staying here you will have a very good chance of elk passing through the yard as well as many other animals. At the foot of the driveway is the local swimming hole where everyone brings their coolers and chairs, or you can pick out a rock and enjoy the sun and water as well as fish or kayak.
