Just 1 mile to Orono village, and 2 miles to the University of Maine. Only 4 miles to Bangor. Enjoy using a complete kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, air conditioning, and a 3 season screened in deck. The living room boosts a plush downed filled sofa for TV viewing. Orono art/yoga studio with upstairs loft bedroom

Outskirts of Orono, space has an upstairs sleeping loft, with a low-ish ceiling and very comfy bed. The bathroom has a shower, the kitchen has a hot plate, microwave/convection, ‘fridge, and there is a large main room downstairs. Windows everywhere, and an AC unit in summer. Less than 20 minutes walk to restaurants, Ampersand’s grocery, and hiking. UMaine is our chief attraction but we are 20 min drive from the Bangor Waterfront. Arrive at 3 pm and leave at 10 am, but we are flexible.

Enjoy easy access to all the best Maine has to offer from this perfectly located home base on the Stillwater river. Walk to the UMaine campus, just .5 miles away. Walk, bike, or cross-country ski miles of beautiful trails right outside your door. Have coffee on the dock or get out on the water in one of our many paddle crafts. Enjoy restaurants, bars and cafés in Orono or Old Town. We are very close to 95, making it easy to day trip to Acadia National Park, Camden, or Baxter State Park.

Located approx. 15 minutes from the University of Maine (UMO) and 90 minutes from Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. NOTE: Fairly narrow spiral staircase.
