this was very ideal for my family. loved everything about this place. Loved the peaceful Backyard. Loved the privacy of each of the bedrooms. I honestly will recommend this Airbnb to friends and I will definitely book it again on my next trip to NOLA. Great job keeping this place very neat. My children and I felt very much at home. All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pelican. From this historic house located in a quiet neighborhood, we could walk to the ferry going across the river to downtown and the French quarter. Karen provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing as well as wonderful breakfasts. We opted to take a class at the cooking school that Karen operates (an extra cost, but worth it) and enjoyed learning how to cook classic Cajun and Creole dishes. (Bonus: you get to eat the results!) We highly recommend a stay at Casa Pelican for a true New Orleans experience!

Homey spot, has everything you need and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Unit was a little dirty, small stains on the wall and I did see a roach on the side of the mattress, but bathroom was very clean, all the amenities worked well, and the balcony/common areas are certainly worth some of your time.

Great location—quiet, clean, and full of New Orleans charm. Jeremy was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely hospitable. The main room featured beautiful NOLA-style decor, a lovely natural oil scent dispenser , and soft jazz music playing in the background, which set a perfect mood. Of course, the atmosphere will vary depending on the who else is staying when you are, but during my stay, everyone was cool, courteous, and respectful. I had a great time!

Excellent spot close to the bars and restaurants I like. Kind and lovely people taking care of the space. Clean and comfy room. Yummy breakfast included. I also suggest taking advantage of the spa - was a wonderful start to vacation to have a deep tissue massage by their pro therapists.

If you like Frenchman Street and The French Quarter, this is an ideal location! Very comfortable room. Our hosts provided loads of breakfast options. Lots of clean towels. More than met our expectations!

The ambiance of this residence places a guest within the vitality of New Orleans, yet the copious spaciousness of rooms afford privacy; plus the porch accessible through the living area added spectacular vantage of the neighborhood. Glen was a master cook for breakfast, varied and deliciouos. He offered excellent advice about navigating to jazz, gardens, Jackson Square, etc. In addition, he took the time to speak of the history of his residence and the workings of the presentation of Mardi Gras floats. No better place or person as a base for New Orleans visit

Can’t wait to visit Michelle’s again! The inn was so comfortable and the room met all of our need down to a great ceiling fan and handy shelves in the bathroom. Michelle and Bob went out of their way to MAKE us a tasty, hot vegan breakfast each morning and were so friendly yet so chill. 5 stars all around!

Nice gem here. Beautiful place, yummy breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Easy access to public trans, okay public parking, 2 blocks from Cafe, walking distance to most things you'd like to check out in NOLA. Felt as safe as any other city (live and work in Chicago).

Beautifully restored mansion. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Easy to walk to all things French Quarter and Frenchman St.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Lindsay mon amie et moi ! Je recommande totalement, toujours disponibles pour des recommandations, Lindsay et Adam, son mari, ont été très réactifs quelques soient nos demandes tout au long du séjour. La maison est très belle et confortable.

Roberta à été accueillante et très attentionné à notre égard en nous offrant des petits gâteaux. La suite est très cosy, nous avons adoré la décoration et la propreté. L'emplacement est parfait à 20 minutes à pied du bord du lac. Je recommande à 200 %

Excellent place to stay with kindness, comfort, and thought put into everything from the bedrooms to the communal spaces. I especially appreciated the kindness, flexibility, and promptness of Rachaela when it came to messaging about questions or any requests our group had. If you book a stay here, you’ll be sure to feel comfortable and have a great home base while exploring New Orleans.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and had lots of space. the outdoor areas were really pretty and enjoyable. Everything was great! Would love to stay here again.

Liz was very responsive from the start. I would recommend The Mansion on Royal to anyone visiting New Orleans. The room was great and it was easy to walk into the French Quarter and access other sites. Also appreciated the availability of luggage storage before we checked in and after we checked out.
