Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

From its uniquely designed suspension over top of a creek, lighted boardwalk path through the woods that ramps up to the cabin amongst the trees giving it a true tree-house feel, 3 spacious decks for lounging and enjoying nature and the sounds of the roaring creek beneath you, to luxurious amenities galore inside and out. All in a secluded, private setting minutes from town!

Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Charming Cottage Near Greenbrier River

This is a cozy yet spacious cottage at the dead end of a short unpaved lane. Quiet, private, with lots of wildlife in the woods above the Greenbrier River and trail. You won’t see or hear the neighbors. I stay in the studio apt. behind the garage on the far side of the property. I absolutely respect your privacy. Only 15 minutes from Historic Lewisburg, one of WV's best tourist destinations which offers restaurants, bars, shops, antiques, and the arts. It is 13 miles to The Greenbrier Resort.

Cottage at Man in the Moon Farm Alpacas

Surround yourself with nature, national forest, a mountain creek, and alpacas in this serene setting on a 37-acre working alpaca farm. A perfect get-away that will melt your stress away. You will have the opportunity to interact and learn about these magical animals. With pasture surrounding three sides and beautiful mountain view’s. Peaceful tiny house with amazing view of Sharp Top Mountain! Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Cabin On The Creek

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

THE ORCHARD HOUSE Located in beautiful Fincastle, VA, and surrounded by apple and peach orchards, The Orchard House is perfect for a quiet getaway. Offering views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounding farm land, the front porch offers a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Otterview Mountain House

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.

Pine Ridge Cabin

Come visit this beautiful cabin nestled in the heart of Craig County VA. This spacious cabin sits on 7 acres of land that back-ups to National Forest. A great space to come relax, slow down and enjoy some beautiful mountain views. This cabin is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the town of New Castle, and about 30 minutes from the VA Triple Crown hiking loop. Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.
