The drive to the house already gets you excited, through towns we had never heard of, absolutely exquisite nature and then finally you get to the turn and you can just about see the house on the “hill”. Animals on your doorstep, the pool overlooking the animals, it was spectacular. The house itself was very well equipped with everything we needed. This is a place we would definitely return to, but next time not just as a stopover, we would stay. It is beyond peaceful. Talk about peaceful… you might need a few peaceful sleep bottles :D you are in the middle of nature, surrounded by nature. There were a lot of mosquitoes during the night and of course Hennie was right, do not leave any lights on… we left 1 kitchen light on, the next morning there were like a million bugs (moths) flying around that light, and it is not an exaggeration :D Again, this is part of the charm, it is part of nature and I wish we could stay a bit longer, but next time! Thanks Hennie :)

Lovely and authentic farm experience!

The accommodation was everything the advert promised and much more! What a delightful experience and we were sorry we were passing through as could easily have stayed longer. There were all the provisions and amenities for catering for ourselves, braaing out on the deck and enjoying the sunset views. The facilities in this spacious cabin for two were of excellent standard and the decor very tasteful and suitable.

I actually don’t want too many other people to know about this place since it is the perfect stopover for travellers and I will definitely use it again. It was very spacious and the setting is getting you in the mood for a holiday. The big mystery for me was the price… I really expected much, much less. Hidden gem for sure!

Pretty log cabin, had all the amenities, everything worked. Struggled to find light switches but managed. Electric blankets and heaters to keep us warm. Beautiful view of the mountain. Clean and neat. Plenty hot water for showers. Property is on quite a busy road. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend it to friends.

my team thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Megan was super responsive whenever we needed her assistance! Would definitely recommend this place :)
